THERE IS THE WHISTLE! ATHLETIC CLUB ARE THE SUPERCOPA DE ESPANA CHAMPIONS!
90' +2
Athletic are just hitting the ball long whenever they win it now. They know they are on the brink of lifting the trophy and just want to get it clear.
90'
There will now be a minimum of three minutes of added time.
88'
Barca continue to try and find another goal but a couple of corners in quick succession fail to come to anything. Athletic fail to make the most of a potential counterattack as De Marcos' cross-field ball to Susaeta is overhit.
86'
Kike Sola goes off after a red card!
ATHLETIC ARE DOWN TO 10 MEN TOO! Kike Sola catches Mascherano on the shin with his studs after the defender cleared the ball but the referee had no hesitation in dismissing him! Both sides are now down a man.
85'
Dani Alves attempts to play Munir in behind with a searching ball from deep but the forward is unable to catch it and keep it alive. He shakes his head, clearly disappointed with his attempt.
83'
Mikel Rico enters the game and replaces Beñat.
There is another switch from the Athletic boss, now, with Benat making way for Mikel Rico.
82'
The Blaugrana are being caught extremely short at the back but Kike Sola opts to turn back rather than try and find a route towards goal.
81'
Kike Sola enters the game and replaces Aduriz.
80'
With one eye on their Europa League qualifier against Zilina in midweek, Valverde withdraws Aduriz and replaces him with Kike Sola.
Minute
Description
78'
Messi wins a free kick after drawing a foul from Elustondo and he quickly gets back to his feet to move it on at pace. He feeds Suarez and follows his run but a last-ditch tackle from Laporte steers the ball away from goal.
76'
Well, Barca would now need another five goals in order to lift the trophy. Munir tries to instantly get the hosts back in front but his volley from the left is easy for Iraizoz to take.
74'
Aduriz has scored a goal for Athletic Bilbao!
GOOOOOOOAAAAAL!! ATHLETIC HAVE THE AWAY GOAL! Their 31-year wait for a trophy is surely over! Barca are caught out at the back and completely switch off as a long ball is hauled forward. De Marcos beats Mathieu to the header and sends it into an unmarked Aduriz. The striker's initial shot is saved by Bravo but he slots the rebound home!
73'
SUAREZ! So close to the second! Messi intercepts a stray pass from Benat on the halfway line and feeds Suarez. The Uruguayan goes around the outside of Gurpegui and onto his left boot, but his shot flies wide of the target!
72'
Los Leones manage to get the ball out of their own half now and look to slow the tempo of the game. With the hosts a man light if they just hold onto possession they can begin to tire them out and carve some openings.
70'
There are just 20 minutes remaining in which Barca must find at least three goals while also keeping a clean sheet. They've already been caught on the break a couple of times, Athletic just haven't been able to punish them.
68'
Elustondo enters the game and replaces Xabier Etxeita.
Sandro Ramírez enters the game and replaces I. Rakitić.
M. El Haddadi enters the game and replaces Pedro.
Valverde opts to make a change with Etxeita making way for Elustondo. It looks like he will slot into midfield with Gurpegui dropping into the back line.
There are two subs from Luis Enrique too, with Sandro and Munir replacing Rakitic and Pedro.
66'
Barca continue to have plenty of the possession with Messi and Suarez trying to link up to the best of their abilities. Iraizoz remains untested this half, though.
64'
A lovely through-ball from De Marcos releases Aduriz in behind but Bravo comes from his line to clear it. The striker slides in to try and beat him to it and the Chilean tumbles to the deck after making the clearance. Aduriz isn't happy with that and gets in the face of the Barca keeper! He's fortunate to avoid a second yellow card there.
62'
Susaeta has another go at goal from 20 yards but this time around he fails to hit the target. Barca have been playing with more vigour since the red card for Pique, with Athletic sitting even deeper and inviting the pressure.
60'
Beñat gets yellow.
Benat is the latest player to go into the referee's book for holding Messi as he attempt to dribble down the right. Things are getting very heated at Camp Nou with the entertainment failing to cease.
59'
Aduriz gets yellow.
WHAT A MISS FROM RAKITIC! Mathieu is released down the left and he fires a fantastic cross to the back post, where the Croatian can supply a simple finish. However, he fails to make a clean contact with the ball and sends it into the side netting. In the aftermath Aduriz picks up a yellow card following a confrontation with Mascherano.
58'
It's an almost insurmountable task facing Barca now, but they come close to adding to their tally with a quick break. Suarez causes chaos in the box and Pedro pokes an effort towards goal which is kept out on the line by Laporte!
56'
J. Mascherano gets yellow.
Piqué goes off after a red card!
IT'S A RED CARD FOR PIQUE! The centre-back shouts in the face of the assistant on the near side after he kept his flag down on the previous move. He clearly had a little too much to say for the referee and is subsequently given his marching orders!
55'
ADURIZ! Athletic go even closer! De Marcos turns Mathieu on the wing and then surges forward. He slips a pass inside for the veteran striker and Pique slows down and raises his arm, expecting the flag to go up. It doesn't though, and the hat-trick hero from the first leg's effort is kept out by Bravo!
54'
Another chance for Athletic! Barca are being pressed intensely when they have the ball near their own goal and this time around Eraso picks up possession in the box. He tees up Susaeta at the top of the box but he produces a tame effort which Bravo holds.
53'
Suarez does brilliantly, keeping going and poking a pass out to Pedro in a 50-50 situation. However, yet again the flag is raised for an offside decision.
51'
Pique steps up from the back and sends a pass out wide before continuing his run to the top of the box. He clearly wants to provide a target for a cross but Barca stop moving the ball quickly and subsequently fail to pick him out.
49'
Dani Alves is caught in possession on the edge of his own box by Susaeta but he manages to make a recovering challenge on the Bilbao Athletic man. He cannot keep it in play, though, so the visitors are awarded a throw in deep in Blaugrana territory.
48'
Athletic have every man behind the ball and it's forcing Barca to rely on crosses into the middle. Every single one is being repelled at the moment, though, as the visitors look to hang on for as long as possible.
46'
Barca get the second half underway!
45' +2
There is the half-time whistle!
45'
Pedro gets yellow.
The decibels have increased 10-fold inside Camp Nou, and we are going to have one minute of added time at the end of this half.
44'
There's a melee in the aftermath as Iraizoz refuses to give the ball up and let the hosts get on with the play. Pedro is given a yellow card by the referee for his part in trying to wrest it back from the Athletic keeper.
43'
L. Messi has scored a goal for Barcelona! Assist by L. Suárez.
GOOOOOOAAAAL!! THERE IS THE BREAKTHROUGH! And who else to score it but Messi! The Argentina international arrives late in the box and volleys into the net after Rakitic's cross is chested into his path by Suarez!
41'
Eraso gets yellow.
Eraso sneaks in front of Iniesta but lets the ball bounce and the Spain international darts back ahead of him. The Athletic man pulls his shirt and, as a result, has his name taken by the referee.
40'
STAT: Athletic have not won at Camp Nou in any competition since November 2001.
38'
WHAT A CHANCE! That should have been it for Athletic! Pedro plays an errant pass straight to Eraso 25 yards from goal and he beats Mascherano as he dribbles into the box. He has Aduriz in space in the centre but opts to go it alone and slams his shot into the side netting of the near post!
36'
That's a let-off for Gurpegui! The midfielder is caught in possession by Suarez inside his own half and the hosts immediately break. Pedro's attempt to find Messi on the far side is cut out, though, and the attack breaks down.
34'
Barca are beginning to play their neat passes higher up the pitch now. Rakitic's scuffed cross falls for Iniesta on the edge of the box and his connection is no better as he slices a shot harmlessly off target.
33'
Mascherano pings a lovely diagonal ball into the path of Dani Alves and the Brazilian volleys it back into the centre from the right-hand side of the box. He has no team-mates up in support but, just to be sure, Laporte nods it behind for a corner.
31'
JUST OVER! Messi attempts to curl the free kick into the top left corner but it drops onto the roof of the net. Iraizoz was underneath and could well have made the save had it been on target anyway.
30'
Bóveda gets yellow.
Boveda is the first player into the book following a late tackle 25 yards grom goal. Messi scored directly from two set-pieces in the Uefa Super Cup against Sevilla. Can he do it again here?
29'
That was a decent chance! Rakitic's low corner to the near post is flicked on by Suarez with a discrete touch, teeing up Pedro for a shot at the top of the box. However, the winger completely misses the ball! He, and Suarez, have their heads in their hands!
28'
Aduriz is released in behind the defence by a long ball which Pique fails to deal with. The striker attempts to race in on goal but Mascherano gets across and dispossesses him. He claims he was fouled by the Argentine but the referee signals for play to continue.
26'
Once the Blaugrana get their first goal you sense that the atmosphere inside the stadium will intensify further and that could propel them onto further strikes. For the moment, though, the visitors are defending rather well and when they do get the ball clear, Aduriz holds it up before winning a throw in to offer some respite.
24'
Pique plays a square pass to Iniesta in space and the midfielder drives at the Athletic defence. He initiates a one-two with Suarez and continues his run to the byline, where Etxeita slides in with a fantastic challenge that sees the last touch come off the Barca man!
23'
Benat swings the corner into the box but again it is Pique who gets his head to it first. Aduriz isn't having quite as much luck in the air up against the former Manchester United man compared to how he fared in the first leg!
22'
Athletic manage to push out of their own half for a few moments and Susaeta ends up pinging a cross into the box for Aduriz which Pique nods away. The visitors keep the pressure on and De Marcos manages to win a corner.
20'
That was a lovely move from Luis Enrique's side, though the finish was missing! Mathieu's low cross is looped over the head of Etxeita by a lovely touch from Suarez. Iniesta then attempts to send it back to the Uruguayan rather than going for goal himself, but Laporte intervenes and hacks it clear.
18'
Mascherano gives away possession inside his own half and Benat pounces. He drills a low cross towards Aduriz at the near post but the veteran striker is unable to bring it under his control. The ball runs loose but a foul from Gurpegui brings the pressure from los Leones to a close.
17'
Again a Barca attack is thwarted by the offside flag with Messi the man forcing the assistant to make the decision this time. It's worked well so far but one lapse in concentration could see them ship a goal.
15'
Messi squares a pass to Iniesta and then darts into the box. The Spaniard clips it back into the middle but his delivery is too high for the Argentine to control. The fans are pleased with what they are seeing at the moment, though.
14'
The visitors are sitting with a fairly high line, squeezing the space and trying to restrict Barca from playing in neat triangles around them. Messi clips another pass over the top of the defence but both Pedro and Iniesta are in illegal positions as they attempt to latch onto it.
12'
Suarez loses possession cheaply and Athletic instantly look to break. Aduriz is unable to dribble beyond Busquets, though, and the hosts again push forward. The Uruguayan then makes another run in behind the defence but is again flagged offside.
10'
Aduriz wins a flick on and then chases Mathieu down, winning a corner for his side. A few headers inside the box fail to create anything for the visitors before the Blaugrana clear the danger. It's been an electric start to this match, with Pique getting extremely high up the pitch and remaining there after set-pieces.
8'
Benat teases a set-piece in from a deep position on the left and attempts to find Gurpegui with it. It's just too far ahead of the midfielder, though, and the bounce takes it to comfortably within Bravo's grasp.
6'
OFF THE BAR! WHAT A SPELL FOR BARCA! Messi drops extremely deep, just on the halfway line, and curls a fantastic ball over the defence for Iniesta. His first touch at the top of the box is exquisite and loops over his marker, falling kindly for Pedro whose shot is deflected over the top. The resultant corner is taken short before being clipped into the box for Pique, whose half-volley rattles the frame of the goal!
5'
Alves slides a brilliant ball down the channel for Messi to chase but there's a bit too much pace put on it and he can only send his cross into the side netting. When Barca are in possession, Iniesta and Rakitic are pulling out into very wide areas, presumably to offer support to Messi and Pedro.
3'
It's been a fairly open start to the match, with both teams only being denied clear routes through on goal by marginal offside decisions. Los Leones must avoid conceding an early goal as it would put the momentum well and truly with Barca, and that could be devastating.

We are underway!
Hello and welcome to this evening’s LIVE coverage of the Supercopa de Espana second leg between Barcelona and Athletic Club from Camp Nou. Following a shock 4-0 defeat in Friday’s meeting at San Mames, the Blaugrana have a huge task ahead of them if they are to lift the trophy. My name is Tom Webber, and I will be guiding you through all the action.
No side has ever overturned a four-goal deficit in this competition, but that is the task that Barca face tonight. Aritz Aduriz netted a hat-trick in los Leones’ excellent first-leg display, but coach Ernesto Valverde has warned his charges against complacency tonight. Away goals do count, so one for Athletic Club will mean the hosts will need six! We could be in for an extremely entertaining evening.
BARCELONA TEAM NEWS: After conceding eight goals in two games, Marc-Andre ter Stegen - Luis Enrique's cup goalkeeper - is replaced between the posts by Claudio Bravo. There are six other changes from the Blaugrana coach's first-leg side, with Javier Mascherano, Gerard Pique, Jeremy Mathieu, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta all returning. Neymar remains sidelined with mumps so Pedro, who has been heavily linked with a move away from the club, continues in attack.
ATHLETIC CLUB TEAM NEWS: Mikel San Jose, the scorer of the tie's first goal with a sublime strike from in excess of 40 yards, misses out with a calf problem. He is replaced by Gurpegi, while Eneko Boveda comes in at right back to allow Oscar De Marcos to move into the more advanced role that Sabin occupied in the first leg. Inaki Williams is still recovering from injury but Mikel Rico returns to the bench.
Barcelona bench: Ter Stegen, Bartra, Vermaelen, Rafinha, Sergi Roberto, Munir, Sandro.
Athletic Club bench: Herrerin, Elustondo, Mikel Rico, Sabin, Lekue, Aketxe, Kike Sola.
The Bilbao side did a great job of minimising the impact of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in the first leg, and if they can do the same again tonight then it will be extremely difficult for the Catalan giants to turn it around. They are aiming for a sixth trophy in 2015, but they may be boosted by the knowledge that they scored four or more goals in 18 separate matches last season.
The teams are out on the pitch and kick off is just a few short moments away!
Athletic Club (4–5-1): Iraizoz; Boveda, Etxeita, Laporte, Balenziaga; De Marcos, Benat, Gurpegui, Eraso, Susaeta; Aduriz.
HALF TIME - Barca 1-0 Athletic (1-4 agg): The Catalan giants have been in control for much of the first half but only broke through two minutes before the interval as Messi scored with their first shot on target. Eraso had passed up a fantastic opportunity to net a potentiall vital away goal earlier in the game, but momentum is certainly with the Blaugrana now. They still need three more to take the match to extra time, so be sure to stay tuned to see if they can do that in the second half!
FULL TIME - Barca 1-1 Athletic (1-5 agg): The hosts dominated much of the second leg but a four-goal deficit proved too much to overturn. They took the lead through Messi on the stroke of half time but Pique's dismissal in the second half made this even more difficult for them. Aduriz then netted a crucial goal for los Leones and even a red card for Kike Sola could not stop their celebrations at ending a 31-year wait for silverware!
That is all we have time for tonight. Thanks for joining me, Tom Webber, and have a great evening!
