N. Kanté enters the game and replaces A. Griezmann.
N'Golo Kante replaces Griezmann as France look to run the final seconds off the clock.

There will be three minutes added on at the end of this match.

THAT WAS THE CHANCE! A ball in from the right is only partially dealt with by Koscielny, allowing Janssen to head it back towards goal. It's me there by Depay, who turns and fires a half-volley at goal from in close, but miraculously Lloris is able to react to get a strong hand up to his left to keep it out!
88'
France have done well to take the sting out of the match here in the dying embers. The tempo has largely fizzled out, and the fans are growing quieter with each passing second. Is there to be a twist in the tale?
86'
STAT: France have not lost a competitive match since a 1-0 defeat to Germany in the quarter-finals of the 2014 World Cup.
84'
J. Willems enters the game and replaces D. Pröpper.
A final change for the Dutch sees left-back Jetro Willems replace Propper. An interesting change here to say the least.
82'
France, who have been generally starved of service in the last 20 minutes, are showing a bit of life in possession here. A good break sees them win a corner, but it's a fine piece of defensive play from Strootman on Sidibe that sees the chance away eventually.
80'
A. Gignac enters the game and replaces K. Gameiro.
A second change for France sees Andre-Pierre Gignac replace Gameiro.
79'
P. Pogba gets yellow.
Pogba booked for France, for something he said.

78'
K. Strootman gets yellow.
Bookings for both player following a heated altercation following an incident that occurred behind the play. Strootman booked for the Dutch, and he will miss the next match against Luxembourg through suspension.
76'
STAT: The Netherlands have won 10 successive World Cup qualifying matches, scoring 35 goals while keeping eight clean sheets.
74'
NO PENALTY! Great interplay again from the hosts, with Blind, Janssen, Depay and Strootman all combining, in that order, to work the ball into the area. Strootman goes to ground under a challenge from Matuidi, but it's almost out of frustration with himself that prompts him to look at the referee for a penalty, which was never going to happen there.
72'
Good bit of skill from Depay to lure Pogba into a foul on the left flank. This presents a real opportunity for the Dutch, who commit bodies forward, but the inswinger from Depay proves a real waste of a cross as it goes straight into the hands of Lloris.
70'
D. Pröpper gets yellow.
The Netherlands win a corner following a great passage of play from Karsdorp, but France clear and break quickly, before Propper commits himself to a cynical challenge to stop the break. That sees him into the referee's book.
69'
Concentrated pressure from the Dutch comes to nothing as Janssen tugs on the shirt of Varane in order to try and get on the end of a ball over the top from Blind. Nonetheless, the hosts are starting to take control here.
67'
A. Martial enters the game and replaces D. Payet.
France make their first change of the night as Payet is replaced by Anthony Martial.
66'
VITAL SAVE! Netherlands very much on the ascendency, but as a result there is more space being afforded to France on the counter. A good break sees them win a corner, which is met by Pogba, but his header is kept off the line quite incredibly by Stekelenburg!
64'
STAT: The Netherlands have not lost a competitive fixture against France since 1996, falling on penalties in the quarter-finals of the European Championships.
62'
B. Dost enters the game and replaces G. Wijnaldum.
Dost is finally on here to replace Wijnaldum, as the Dutch switch over to a 4-4-2 for the time being.
61'
NEARLY LEVEL! More great play from Karsdorp on the right, sprinting into space and picking out Memphis with an admirable pull-back, but the United winger can't wrap his foot around it, lifting an effort over the bar.
60'
Dutch and Liverpool hearts sink here as Wijnaldum drops to the turf clutching his hamstring. He hasn't had the best of nights, but that would be a real big blow for the hosts as they chase down an equaliser. He makes his way off the pitch and the substitute, Bas Dost, isn't ready yet!
58'
They're blocking everything! A clever ball over the top eventually leads to a shooting chance for Janssen, but Koscielny fearlessly turns him aside, before Pogba gets his body in front of the follow-up from Van Dijk!
56'
STUNNING DELIVER! That was all in the ball over the top from Pogba, inch-perfect, to spring Gameiro. The striker has Bruma draped over him, however, only able to poke an effort at goal from in close, but Stekelenburg was off his line in a flash to close down the angle and make the save.
54'
For two sides so competent in attack, it's been a surprisingly defensive match. There's a real sense of calm for both teams at the back, and it's resulted in a surprising lack of chances. Both goalkeepers have had little to do.
52'
STAT: Excluding extra-time and penalties, France have not lost in 14 matches, since a 2-0 friendly defeat to England in November 2015 (W11, D3).
50'
The Dutch have the pressure on them in the second half to turn this around. With Sweden currently leading Bulgaria 2-0 in the other Group A match, the Netherlands would be in jeopardy of falling three points behind them and France with a defeat tonight - with a trip to Paris still to come next summer.
48'
Some show of strength, that, from Janssen! He completely over powers Varane, with the centre-half falling by the wayside as Janssen turns in the area and fends him off to get a shot off from close range, though he can only send an effort crashing into the side netting.
46'
Back underway in Amsterdam!
45' +2
HALF-TIME: NETHERLANDS 0-1 FRANCE.
45'
There will be two minutes added on at the end of this first half.
44'
The Netherlands have upped the urgency a bit, searching for a positive end to this first half, or maybe even an equaliser. They're passing it around smartly, but are not having a great deal of success building through the centre. Karsdorp and Blind have done well out wide, but the narrow channels have been congested.
42'
PENALTY APPEALS DENIED! Dreadful from Payet, as his back-pass is pounced upon by Janssen. The striker twists and turns his way into space for a shot, which is blocked by Koscielny. The defender made clear contact with the ball with his hand, following the block, though he didn't really know too much about it - but you can see why the Dutch are protesting.
40'
STAT: The last time the Netherlands lost a World Cup qualifying match was on October 11, 2000, a 2-0 defeat to Portugal – 16 years ago tomorrow.
38'
Payet saw Pogba's effort from distance pay off, so he decides to go at it himself as space opens up for a shot. The West Ham forward drives a decent effort at goal from a long way out, but he needs something truly special to be beating Stekelenburg from there.
36'
There really isn't much tempo to this match, and that's been the case for the bulk of this first half. The Dutch are lacking ideas in possession, as well as pace in attack, something that went out of their side when Promes went down injured inside of 15 minutes.
34'
The goal has boosted the energy level in this France side. They're starting to take control again and dominate possession, after being starved of it for much of the 10 minutes or so leading up to the opener. The Ducth continue to defend admirably, however, allowing very little from open play.
32'
That's quite a blow to the Dutch, who end their best spell of the match with a goal conceded, and an avoidable one at that. Pogba's effort was struck with plenty of venom, but Stekelenburg got both hands to it! Stronger wrists and he's parrying that behind without any issue.
30'
P. Pogba has scored a goal for France! Assist by D. Payet.
THAT'S HOW YOU SILENCE A CROWD! The world's most expensive player shows what he's made of as he unloads an effort from 30 yards that slips through the hands of Stekelenburg and into the back of the net! The keeper has to be doing better there, as does Strootman to close down in midfield.
Payet is credited with the assist.
28'
STAT: These two nations have not met in a competitive fixture since Euro 2008, with the Netherlands cruising to a 4-1 victory in the group stage.
26'
This is a much better spell from the Netherlands, who are doing to France exactly what was done onto them early on, dictating the tempo, winning possession and swarming to win it back when they give it up. It's brought the home fans back to life, as another good forward pass from Blind, and run from Janssen, sees them win a corner.
24'
TERRIFIC DELIVERY! The outswinger from Memphis bends behind the defensive line, but out of reach of Lloris. Van Dijk, such a threat from these set-pieces, stretches to get on the end of it, but can only get a feint touch as his effort deflects behind for a corner.
22'
Play comes to a halt as Karsdorp is on the receiving end of an elbow from Koscielny. It sees the Dutch win a free-kick in an attacking position on the right, but they will have to wait to take as the right-back receives treatment.
20'
Stunning! Splendid bit of interplay from the Dutch, their best passage of play this evening, as Karsdorp's ball in from the right finds Klaassen, who combines excellently with Propper in a one-two, but the Ajax midfielder just strays offside as the return pass comes into his feet.
18'
STAT: The Dutch have not beaten France in the Netherlands since a 1-0 victory in a World Cup qualifying match in March 1981.
16'
M. Depay enters the game and replaces Q. Promes.
Memphis Depay comes on to replace Promes, and he takes up a position on the left-hand side, moving Klaassen over to the right flank.
15'
The Dutch have fought their way back, enjoying a decent spell of their own here, but the good news is overshadowed by bad, as Promes has signaled over to the touchline that he is unable to continue. This is certainly a setback for Blind's side, following Promes' two-goal effort on Friday.
13'
FIRST SAVE! France close down so quickly on the ball when they lose it, taking possession back in a flash. Gameiro is picked out in acres of space on the edge of the area, but instead of skipping into the box and taking on Stekelenburg, he tries to power an effort in on goal, one which the keeper sees the whole way and manages to parry with ease.
11'
When the Netherlands do win the ball back, they're struggling to find a way out of their own end. Propper is acting as the number 10, but he's not an out and out attacking midfielder, and it's showing. The team selection from Danny Blind is proving to be a bit negative thus far.
9'
France starting to impose themselves well in the attacking half, with the Dutch suffering from a lack of creativity on the ball. Defensively, however, the hosts are doing well to keep their shape, leaving France to scrape and claw for an opening - something they have yet to manage.
7'
STAT: This is the first time in 14 years (102 consecutive matches) that the Netherlands are playing without one of of Arjen Robben, Wesley Sneijder, Rafael van der Vaart or Robin van Persie.
5'
Positive start from both sides, looking comfortable both on and off the ball. This is a clash of two great footballing nations, regardless of what recent results may suggest, and it's shaping up exactly as such in the early going.
3'
France start off by playing a very high line, one which is punished by Promes. The winger surges behind the defence, and he has speed to burn, but a rather incredible burst of pace from Koscielny sees him make up lost ground and snuff out the chance.
1'
AND THEY'RE OFF! France, in all white, get the game underway, with the Netherlands in their familiar orange home strip.
Hello and welcome to live coverage from the Amsterdam ArenA in, you guessed it, Amsterdam, as the Netherlands host France in a clash of Group A’s two titans.
World Cup qualifiers rarely get much bigger than this. The Dutch, undergoing something of a resurgence following an abysmal Euro qualifying campaign, take on a France side quickly morphing into one of the best, if not the best, sides in Europe.
These are two nations with an expectancy to qualify for every major tournament, but only one will get an automatic berth in Russia 2018. The other will likely be stuck battling it out with the likes of Sweden and Bulgaria for second place and a spot in the play-off.
Both sides enter the match level on points, with the winner taking a massive step in the right direction towards topping Group A.
The onus will be on the Netherlands to get a result at home, though the pressure may be on France to walk away with three points given the form of these two nations over the past year.
Both sides just make one change, with injuries forcing their hands. Wesley Sneijder misses out for the Dutch, while Bacary Sagna was ruled out for France. They're replaced by Davy Propper and Djibril Sidibe, respectively.
The national anthems are met by a roar of applause from both sets of fans, setting the scene for what promises to be an electrifying fixture here in Amsterdam. Just moments away from kick-off!
A bullet of a shot from Paul Pogba, and a Maarten Stekelenburg error, is all that separates the two sides after 45 minutes. It has been a fairly even contest, with chances in short supply, though a late decision by the referee not to award the Dutch a penalty has stolen some of the headlines heading into the interval.
Paul Pogba's goal lifts Les Bleus to victory in Amsterdam as Didier Deschamps' side take a big step towards qualifying for Russia 2018.
