Hello and welcome to our LIVE match commentary of the Premier League clash between Manchester United and Newcastle United at Old Trafford.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba are in contention to play for Manchester United against Newcastle tonight, after overcoming long-term injuries. Ibrahimovic suffered the injury during United's Europa League quarter-final tie against Anderlecht in April, and was released from his contract at the end of last season before re-signing on a new one-year deal in August.
United come into the game after suffering a one-nil defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge before the international break, however, they remain third in the table behind Manchester City and Chelsea.
Newcastle approach the game in poor form having suffered consecutive 1-0 defeats to Burnley and Bournemouth in the Premier League, and have picked up just one win in their last six league matches, which has seen them drop to 11th position in the table.
One player who is unlikely to feature for the hosts is Phil Jones as he suffered a thigh injury while on international duty with England, while Michael Carrick is also a doubt with a calf strain. Meanwhile for Newcastle, Benitez, will be unable to call upon his captain Jamaal Lascelles, as well as Christian Atsu, Mikel Merino and Paul Dummett.
