P. Gómez has scored a goal for Atalanta! Assist by M. de Roon.
De Roon didn't have to do much to pick up the assist! He just passed it to Gomez out wide, and the Argentine finished the chance brilliantly!
GOOOALLLL!!! ATALANTA HAVE SCORED AGAIN! Gomez, who had been a surprisingly quiet presence in today's match, drifted in from the left and curled in a perfect finish into the top-right corner to further punish Inter! Atalanta 4-1 Inter.
90' +2
M. Brozović gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
RED CARD! Brozovic is sent off after blocking the run of Ilicic and, having already picked up a yellow, is shown his second. Surely the sign of frustration that.

GOALLLL!!!! After being outplayed since the break, Atalanta restore their lead! Ilicic curls in a fantastic ball from a free kick and Mancini spears it perfectly, powering it into the back of the net! Atalanta 2-1 Inter.
Ilicic stood over the free kick and whipped in the perfect ball which picked out Mancini amongst the crowd, and the defender powered it past Handanovic!

Gosens had the whole pitch to run into, made it all the way to the box unchallenged and then whipped in a horrible cross which soars well above and then behind the Inter goal.

That is indeed what happens as the injured Toloi is replaced by Castagne, which will likely see the home side change shape.

Another Inter player gets his name in the book as Skriniar goes through the back of Gomez.

Zapata gets space to shoot in the box again but his shot is blocked behind for a corner. Inter are lucky to only be down by one considering how frequently they are conceding space and shots from within their own penalty area.

Miranda fouls Ilicic on the touchline which will give the hosts a free kick from a very dangerous position.
28'
Beautiful string of one-touch passing from Inter ends with an Asamoah cross into Icardi who shoots, but his attempt is blocked behind for a corner. That move deserved more!
25'
M. Vecino gets yellow.
Vecino seemingly stamped on Gosens back foot and picks up a yellow card for his troubles!
24'
Inter take their first corner of the match but fail to make anything of it as Atalanta clear it far up the pitch.
21'
Inter try to find Politano with a lofted through ball and, while it's too long for the winger, Toloi gets there and chooses safety over valour, clearing it for a throw-in.

All Ilicic at the moment as he now streaks down the right wing before passing the ball infield to Hateboer whose shots is deflected by Miranda and trickles harmlessly to Handanovic.

Gosens curled in a delightful cross from the left which led Hateboer perfectly into a scoring position who finished first time!

Referee Fabio Maresca blows his whistle, and we're underway at the Atleti Azzurri d'Italia!
But wait! It's a false start! The players reset, the whistle sounds, and we're off for real this time!
Hello, and welcome to our live coverage of this Serie A clash between Atalanta and Inter!
Today's match should be a very interesting one as Atalanta have had the better of Inter at hime, having lost just one of their last nine to the Milan side. Inter, have the advantage on the whole though as they have beaten Atalanta in five of their last eight overall meetings. Which trend will continue today? We'll find out together!
Some may look at this matchup and assume that Inter, and their league best defence, will have an easy day of it, but think again. Atalanta rank in the top 10 in goals, assists, goals conceded, and clean sheets in the league so, despite sitting 11th in the table, they certainly offer plenty on the pitch.
Now let's look at how these sides will be lining up today!
Atalanta (3-4-3): Etrit Berisha; Rafael Toloi, Berat Djimsiti, Gianluca Mancini; Hans Hateboer, Marten de Roon, Remo Freuler, Robin Gosens, Josip Ilicic, Duvan Zapata, Alejandro Gomez.
Atalanta substitutes: Matteo Pessina, Ali Adnan, Timothy Castagne, Musa Barrow, Davide Bettella, Mario Pasalic, Luca Valzania, Emiliano Rigoni, Pierluigi Gollini, Francesco Rossi, Dejan Kulusevski.
Inter (4-3-3): Samir Handanovic; Kwadwo Asamoah, Miranda, Milan Skriniar, Danilo D’Ambrosio; Roberto Gagliardini, Marcelo Brozovic, Matias Vecino; Ivan Perisic, Mauro Icardi, Matteo Politano.
Inter substitutes: Sime Vrsaljko, Lautaro Martinez, Andrea Ranocchia, Joao Mario, Antonio Candreva, Stefan de Vrij, Radja Nainggolan, Dalbert, Borja Valero, Balde Keita Diao, Daniele Padelli.
The teams are walking out onto the pitch! Not long to go now!
Atalanta will surely be wondering what they have to do to score their second goal! They've been the better side in nearly every way yet they head into the half just one goal up against a dangerous Inter attack. If the hosts can keep doing what they've been doing they should be able to leave this match with all three points, but the midfield and defence will need to be at their best to ensure they don't let this lead slip.
Inter have been sloppy and slow for large swathes of this match thus far. Yes they had a huge match and result against Barcelona during the week, but this performance has simply not been good enough. The defence has been porous, allowing just about anyone to take aim at goal whenever they please. Handanovic has managed to keep the score at one but, if nothing changes, they’ll conceded a second sooner rather than later.
The second half has been delayed as they redraw the lines on the pitch. The rain is causing problems for more than just the defenders it would seem!
It will be some time before either of these sides play again as we head into the international break but, when they do, Atalanta will travel to face Empoli, while Inter will try to right things against struggling Frosinone.
That will do it for our live coverage of this match between Atalanta and Inter! We hope you enjoyed following along and will join us again soon!
