PSG need a victory today to keep up with Lille at the top of the table, who are currently four points ahead of them. However, today is PSG’s game in hand, as Lille aren’t in action this weekend. The visitors are currently on a four-game winning streak in Ligue 1, but they will be looking to bounce back from their Champions League semi-final defeat in midweek against Manchester City.
Meanwhile Rennes suffered a blow in their hopes of qualifying for Europe next season, as they suffered a 1-0 defeat against Bordeaux, their first loss in six games. This leaves them seventh in the table.
