Vlahovic gets the game underway for Juventus!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Europa League play-off between Juventus and Nantes at the Allianz Stadium!
Juventus were left extremely disappointed by a below-par Champions League campaign in the first half of the season, winning just one and losing five of their six games. They finished third and are playing in the Europa League for the first time since the 2013-14 season. Since the restart, they've lost just two of their games in all competitions (W6 D1), and have won their last three on the bounce without conceding. As for Nantes, they finished as runners-up to Freiburg in Group G, winning three of their matches, including the last two. Since the World Cup, they've lost just once (W5 D5), and are also unbeaten in their last three.
JUVENTUS STARTING XI (4-3-3): Wojciech Szczesny; Mattia De Sciglio, Danilo, Bremer, Alex Sandro; Nicolo Fagioli, Leandro Paredes, Adrien Rabiot; Angel Di Maria, Dusan Vlahovic, Federico Chiesa.
JUVENTUS SUBS: Samuel Iling-Junior, Carlo Pinsoglio, Matias Soule, Gian Marco Crespi, Juan Cuadrado, Federico Gatti, Filip Kostic, Daniele Rugani, Manuel Locatelli, Leonardo Bonucci, Moise Kean.
NANTES STARTING XI (5-4-1): Alban Lafont; Marcus Coco, Jean-Charles Castelletto, Andrei Girotto, Nicolas Pallois, Fabien Centonze; Ludovic Blas, Moussa Sissoko, Pedro Chirivella, Samuel Moutoussamy; Mostafa Mohamed.
NANTES SUBS: Charles Traore, Denis Petric, Evann Guessand, Lohann Doucet, Sebastien Corchia, Michel Diaz, Florent Mollet, Moses Simon, Remy Descamps.
The teams are out on the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away!
Allegri will be pleased with that performance, while also wondering how his side aren't further ahead. They dominated from the first whistle, creating some good chances, but they need to test Lafont more. Kombouare won't be too disheartened though as his team are still in this game at the moment, but they need to show a much bigger attacking threat.
It's a good result for Nantes, who will be on home soil for the second leg at the Beaujoire Stadium next Thursday. Before then, they travel to Lens in Ligue 1, while Juventus face Spezia in Serie A on Sunday.
